Abstract: The Stavax ESR steel washing machine panel mold cracking failure pieces, physical and chemical testing and analysis. The test results show that it is difficult to determine the primary cause of the crack because the mold crack source has been destroyed. The internal cause of the cracking of the mold is that the strength of the material decreases sharply and the brittleness increases significantly, resulting in the early cracking failure of the mold due to the residual insoluble granularity and flaky carbide along the grain boundary. Mold in the hot process is not standardized process, carbide precipitation along the grain boundary to form a network of carbide. The final heat treatment during heating and heating process, the network carbide through the solid solution and aggregation, the formation of undissolved granular and flaky carbide.
